COVID-19 HEALTH & SAFETY INFORMATION

​​Here at Salt & Pepper, the safety and health of our guests and employees is our top priority. As we continue to follow the guidelines of the CDC and Marin Public Health Department, the measures we are taking to protect the health of our employees and guests are as follows:

Social distancing

• Limited outdoor dining room capacity of the restaurant to meet social distancing guidelines.
• 6ft distance from tables and where the line for pick up orders are made.  

Cleaning and sanitizing

• Entire restaurant is thoroughly detail-clean and sanitized, our focus is on high-contact areas that would be touched by both employees and guests.
• Restrooms are regularly checked for cleanliness and sanitized based on frequency of use.

Food safety

• Food contact surfaces, preparation surfaces and beverage equipment are washed, rinsed, and disinfected after each use. 
• To-go containers will be given upon request for guests to pack own leftovers.

Employee health and hygiene

• Frequent hand washing, the use of hand sanitizers with at least 60% alcohol content, and clear instructions given to avoid touching hands to face.
• Temperature and health checks of all employees before each shift.
• All employees are provided with protective equipment including required face coverings and gloves.

Other precaution measures

• Single-use, disposable menus are now in place.
• Single use packaged condiments will be provided.
• If unvaccinated, guests to wear face masks when entering restaurant and when stopping to pick up To-Go food will be greatly appreciated.
